Calling from 0330 saying they're from my energy supplier

Got a call from a 0330 number claiming to be Octopus Energy, offering a 'fixed-tariff renewal'. Octopus actually does use 0330 numbers and the script wasn't obviously scammy, but they wanted my online-account password to 'apply the new tariff'.
No legitimate energy supplier needs your account password. They have admin access already. Hung up, logged into Octopus directly, no such offer existed. Reported.

Octopus's official support number is 0808 164 1088 (freephone). They never ask for passwords by phone. Their published support hours are 9am-5pm Mon-Fri — calls outside those hours are an automatic red flag.
