Monzo 'app verification' scam doing the rounds
Heads-up — getting reports of a Monzo-specific scam where the caller asks you to 'verify your app session' by reading out the security code from your authenticator app. Same script also tries to get you to install a screen-sharing 'verification helper'.
Monzo do not have call-based session verification. The whole product is app-first; if Monzo needs to verify you it happens in-app, never on the phone. Hang up.

Confirming — Monzo's official position is they never call to ask for codes. Their in-app chat is the only legitimate Monzo support channel for account-security queries.
